Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner!

I am extremely excited to continue to serve as your School Counselor at the "GREAT" C.H. Gullatt Elementary School!  My primary role is to develop and implement a school wide counseling program that will best support students’ academic, personal/social, and career development.  I also serve as our school's Section 504 Chair and Family Engagement Facilitator.

I began my career in Fulton County as a Prekindergarten Instructional Assistant back in 2007, and was subsequently promoted to my school counseling position in 2009.  My educational background includes a B.S. in Human Services from Mercer University, a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Cambridge College, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.  My other professional experiences include years spent with the Department of Family and Children Services, Department of Public Health, Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Aside from work, I enjoy spending quality time with my son, Cannon; being an Atlanta Hawks fan; singing, dancing, bowling, and playing video, arcade, and board games.  I also enjoy volunteering my time on community service initiatives.  My family and I reside in Douglas County.

Words cannot express how much I thoroughly enjoy working with children and making a difference in the lives of others.   Please feel free to reach out to me regarding resources, questions, concerns, feedback, to say "Hi", or simply to give me a “heads up.”

I truly value our partnership!

Warmest regards,
Aundrea Hammock, Ed.S.
